Meeting topic: RealmKit
Next Tuesday, Dr. Warren J. Jasper will be presenting to the LUG on the RealmKit project. You've probably heard of Realm Linux, NCSU's custom spin of RedHat Enterprise Linux. The RealmKit project aims to take the software that separates Realm from RHEL (the tie-ins to the NCSU Unity/AFS/other systems) and port it to other distributions. Dr. Jasper will focus on his work porting RealmKit to Fedora 11.

The meeting will
not
be held in Riddick; it will be held in
College of Textiles building room 2210
at 7:00pm. Dr. Jasper wants to hold the meeting in the computing environment he develops RealmKit in, to ensure the presentation goes smoothly.
